Path of Exile 3.9 Build Guides: Impale Spectral Throw Champion- PartII

Gloves

Since the introduction of Sirus, we now have these great unique gloves that can be corrupted numerous times, resulting in some strong multi implicit options. Since the gloves are quite common, it is fairly easy to find many different combinations of implicits for a fair price. I was able to get a pair with Curse Enemies with Vulnerability on Hit and Attacks have +#% to Critical Strike Chance. Of course, if you can find it or afford it, getting +# Levels to socketed AoE/Aura gems is great to further improve our auras!

Boots

The most important stats we are looking for on boots are You have Tailwind if you have dealt a Critical Strike Recently and Life. If you can find it, craft it or afford it, getting #% chance to gain Elusive on Critical Strike is another great modifier to fit in here. After these modifiers, Resistance and Movement speed are great affixes to get.

Belt

The belt is where we can fill in many of our missing Resistances, Attributes and Life! If you can also fit in damage here, excellent! Remember, that Strength is technically life and damage for us, due to Iron Grip!

Amulet

Here is where finding gear can be a bit tricky. Between our amulet and ring, we will need to try to fill out the rest of our resistances, attributes as well as be able to craft on a prefix for Non-Channelling Skills have -9 to Total Mana Cost, such that we will completely negate the cost of Spectral Throw. For the amulet, be sure to look for one with Life, Attributes and Damage and an open prefix to craft on. The amulet could already be crafted as well, as long as the crafted modifier isn’t one that you were searching for! I exalt slammed my amulet and got T1 Accuracy, however, Accuracy should not be needed! I anointed my amulet with Assassination, as it was the highest damage single node that I could get in the tree!

Rings

• Rare Affix Priority: 
• +# to Maximum Life
• +#% to Elemental Resistances
• +# to Attributes
• # – # Physical Damage to Attacks

Leveling

For leveling this build, I chose to go with elemental gear, since it is so easy to get and scale through the early levels. Making use of low level gloves crafted with Metallic & Frigid fossils, Abyssal Jewels with Flat Elemental damage to attacks and sword attacks, Prismweave, two Ewar’s Mirage’s & Sacraficial Heart we get a solid base of elemental damage to scale. I leveled with those items and whatever other rares or uniques that I had laying around and got to level 70 with no issue, where I then swapped over to using my Physical setup and endgame gear.

Level 1:

• Spectral Throw – Chance to Bleed

Level 4:

• Spectral Throw – Chance to Bleed – Volley
• Ancestral Protector
• Dash

Level 8:

• Spectral Throw – Volley – Chance to Bleed – Added Cold – Added Lightning

Level 10:

• Leap Slam

Level 16:

• Herald of Ice
• Herald of Thunder

Level 18:

• Spectral Throw – Volley – Elemental Damage with Attacks – Faster Attacks – Increased Critical Strikes – Added Cold

Level 31:

• Spectral Throw – Volley/Slower Projectiles – Elemental Damage with Attacks – Faster Attacks – Increased Critical Strikes – Inspiration

This is just part of the entire build guide, an excellent and satisfying way to spend all your money to build unethical buildings and chew everything in front of you.
